Felicity commenced pupillage on 14 December 2020.  She was offered and accepted tenancy at the end of November 2021.

Felicity has dealt with a wide variety of both public and private law cases.  Such cases involved public law matters concerning non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse, and domestic abuse as well as cases of neglect and drug and alcohol misuse.  She has experience of vulnerable witnesses giving evidence with the use of an intermediary and experts, including HST analysts be cross examined.  Within private law, Felicity has observed a variety of disputes, including an application for a FGMPO and contested Non Molestation applications.

Prior to pupillage she spent a year clerking for Mrs Justice Roberts of the Family Division. Preceding that she spent 6 months clerking Mr Justice Birss of the Chancery Division. Such experience assisted her in understanding the intricacies of the country’s most difficult public and private family cases. She experienced top-class trial advocacy and witnessed how it impacts on a judge’s decision making. During the job she received two Reward and Recognition Awards by HMCTS.

Felicity is skilled in the basics of negotiation, having competed and undertaken a Negotiation Programme with LSE. She was also awarded The University of Law, London, BTPC, Drafting Prize in 2019.
