Practice
Jackie has always been based in Middlesbrough and was one of the founding members of Chambers in 2000. Since then she has specialised in all aspects of law relating to children. She is regularly instructed to represent local authorities, parents and other interested parties, children and intervenors. Jackie has extensive experience of acting for guardians in both public and private law proceedings.
Jackie is regularly specifically briefed to provide advice to clients with learning difficulties and has acted on behalf of the Official Solicitor. She has experience in complex finding of fact hearings, in significant non-accidental injury cases including subdural haematoma and receives instructions in respect of cases involving significant sexual abuse.
